Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe, known all around the world as the boy wizard takes on a very different role in Daniel Ragussis's thriller, Imperium. Radcliffe will play a young FBI agent in the film and Ragussis will be making his full-length feature directorial debut. Deadline says, "Based on real events, Radcliffe will star as a young FBI agent who goes undercover to find and stop white supremacists trying to make a dirty bomb. It's based on the experiences of Michael German, an FBI undercover agent who spent years inside United States neo-Nazi and militia groups."
Signing on to do this film will make Radcliffe's shooting schedule especially busy. Most recently he made a cameo as himself walking multiple dogs in New York City in Amy Schumer's "comedy movie Trainwreck "which starred [sic] Schumer and Bill Hader," Aceshowbiz reports. He also is filming an indie comedy called Swiss Army Man "with Paul Dano, and will next be seen Fox's Frankenstein retelling, Victor Frankenstein, opposite James McAvoy, which hits theaters
November 25th. Soon after, he'll be seen on TV portraying Rockstar Games president Sam Houser in the BBC2 telefilm Game Changer, about the creation of the Grand Theft Auto series of video games. Radcliffe is repped by UTA, Sue Latimer at ARG and attorney Fred Toczek," Deadline says. He most certainly is going from project to project, but it will be interesting to see him in a non-magical role. Digital Trends says, "Producers Ty Walker, Dennis Lee (Jesus Henry Christ and Fireflies in the Garden), and Simon Taufique are also attached to the Atomic Features and Tycor International Film Company project."
